Attraction details

The Bear Cave in Kletno
The most beautiful and longest cave located on the Polish side of the Sudetes, situated in the village of Kletno, 12 km south of Lądek Zdrój.

The cave was discovered by accident in 1966 during the exploitation of a marble mine. The total length of the corridors is about 3 km and they are located on 3 levels. The tourist route, which is open to the public, is about 360 m long, whereby about 500 m of the cave can be seen. Due to the need to maintain the specific microclimate inside the cave, visitor groups have a maximum of 15 participants. The route is also accessible for visitors with disabilities. For those who want to take on the role of a grotto explorer and follow in the footsteps of the explorers, an extreme hiking and educational trail is offered in the Old Lower Patras of the Bear Cave. Duration of visit: approx. 45 minutes
