The Silver Mountain Fortress
Srebrna Góra, known as the Pearl of the Owl Mountains, is a small, beautiful town on the border of the Owl and Bardzkie Mountains. Its already legendary "magical" atmosphere delights and enchants.
The fortress of Srebrna Gόra is an entire complex of forts rising above the town. In fact the fortress consists of as many as six forts and several bastions. The main core of the fortress is the bastion complex with the Donjon in the middle. The fortress had 151 fortress rooms (casemates) on three storeys. Huge warehouses, wells, an armoury, a chapel, a prison, a hospital, a bakery, a brewery, craft workshops and a powder magazine made the fort completely self-contained and self-sufficient.
